The U14 Premier side went top of the table with a hard fought 2 nil win over Laytown Utd on Tuesday night at Drogheda United's United Park.
Ben O'Hara slotted home a great move down the right to open the scoring after 25 minutes. In the second half Baldoyle missed a penalty but then a fine passing move came to Oisin Quinn and he fired a 20 yard cracker to put Baldoyle two up.
Laytown had opportunities but 'Doyle keeper Daragh Mooney made two great saves to keep Laytown at bay.
It is a vital 3 points for Mark Tierney and Gerry Reddy's team who go top of the table with 3 games to play.
