Fingal County Council has awarded Baldoyle United its Community Group of the Year Award for 2015/16. The club was chosen from over 100 volunteer groups in Fingal “whose selfless work and giving generously of their time enhances the well being of others”.

Baldoyle Utd won both the Sports section and the overall Community Group of the Year award. The award is not confined to sports groups but was open to all groups who make a significant contribution to the Community. This is a magnificent achievement for the club

The club won the award due its growing membership, sharing facilities with the community and its work with the Polish Community through Polska-Eire. It is recognition of the many hours that is put in by its volunteer coaches, parents and club members. Well done to everyone involved.

Baldoyle Utd FC has been shortlisted for Fingal County Council’s Community Group of the Year 2015.
This a great tribute to the club and comes only a few months after the FAI Community Club of the Year award.

The Fingal award is for any community group (not just football).
The winner will be announced on 24 November.

Once again this is a great acknowledgement of the hard work of the club’s coaches and other volunteers.
It reflects the contribution of the club to the community over nearly 50 years but in particular the growth of the club over the last few years see this.

Well done to everyone connected with the club!
