U9’S TEAM MARCH INTO E-FLOW CUP FINAL

A good day at home for the Baldoyle United FC Under 9s Team who defeated Rivervalley Rangers FC 5-3 at Seagrange Road this morning. Goals from Callum Brady (2), Leo Maher (2) and Max Dent sealed victory and a place in the Cup Final.

From the kickoff to the final whistle the lads gave it their all to make it through. It was a real team effort with Mark saving us on a number of occasions pulling off some fantastic saves, Louis and Jamie outstanding at the back with Louis putting in a Man of the Match performance.

Taylor in central midfield patrolling the area with reasonable force and Matthew coming on to help control the midfield. Max and Leo on the wings put in a great shift defending great as well as threating the Rivervalley goal with every attack with Leo having the composure to tuck away a well deserved penalty at such a critical time, No Pressure!!

Callum with another two goals added to a great performance getting up and down the pitch to help his team. Jack coming on up front was unlucky not to score but held the ball up brilliantly to help with some Rivervalley pressure.

All in all it was a fantastic team performance against a very good team but this is nothing more than the kids deserve with this being just one of a number of great performances this season.
